The Radiobar Company was formed by Earnest J. Krause in 1931, in Los Angeles, California. This functional piece of furniture was conceived during the Prohibition era, and was meant to keep one's liquor out of view. And, The Radiobar Co. of America also started building cabinets for Philco’s radio-phonograph combinations.
